The site is being sold due to the owner’s disability. Please know that this site has been her ‘baby’ and she is sad to have to let it go.

FairyGardens.com is a place that has not only collected some of the most whimsical and unique fairy and gardening related items available, but also a place that can be explored by children and parents looking for craft projects or activities, a budding green thumb looking for advice, and curious adults who have experienced something they cannot explain. While commerce may be the factor that keeps us afloat, it is by no means the only thing that keeps us going.

FairyGardens.com is extensively cross-referenced; each page's keyword meta-tag contains a thorough list of key words and each page is substantially cross -linked to ensure search engine success when searching by a number of phrases. We attract visitors looking for more information on fairies, weddings, rubber stamps, lilacs and more phrases than we could possibly list. We also share web links with a number of fairy, gardening, and children's websites.

FairyGardens.com is visited by approximately 7,000 people each week and has been submitted to many search engines including google.com, yahoo.com, ask jeeves, metacrawler.com, etc.

At this point, people are brought to the site by entering key word searches and growing referrals from satisfied customers and people linked to the site via ‘Fairy Web Ring’ lists.

Fairygardens.com contains approximately 1000 pages and over 4000 files (html pages, images, style sheets, and other assorted documents.

DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

FairyGardens.com is currently registered to FairyGarden and Hope Scheffer, on the registration site register.com. The domain registration is currently paid to February 19, 2011 and will be transferred, along with all site copyright and domain rights and responsibilities. Renewal of the domain name and registration will be the responsibility of the buyer. The current cost for a seven-year registration is $139.95

All fairygarden.com domain email addresses will become the property of buyer and will be relinquished by seller on the completion of the sales process.

The sale is final when the check from the buyer clears and all parties have signed the contract. An offer to buy does not constitute a sale until the finalization process.

HOSTING

FairyGardens.com is hosted by www.hostway.com, under the Gold Plan. This plan provides the following: 600Mbytes storage, 50GB traffic, and such tools as Web Statistics (provides detailed reports on people visiting your site, including how many visitors, what pages are visited, etc) a large script library not currently utilized by FairyGardens.com including a guestbook and blog, tools for building your site, and an e-commerce option.

The buyer will begin paying the hosting fees at the time the contract is finalized. Hostway offers month to month payments, all the way to annual payments. Payment of this plan is the responsibility of the buyer. The current annual rate is $167.40 All passwords and access to www.hostway.com will be provided at the time of the completed sale.

SITE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE

Fairygardens.com was built and is maintained using Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, utilizing HTML 4 code and cascading style sheets (CSS). All pages have been individually created and maintained - they are not generated using any on-the-fly scripting language. The site, as it is currently designed, is easy to maintain for webmasters with understanding of HTML 4 and CSS1 or 2.

Design specific notes and all Dreamweaver libraries, templates, and style sheets will be provided as term of the sale.

SHOPPING CART

Fairygardens.com currently utilizes an easy-to-use shopping cart developed by PayPal. An introduction to PayPal shopping cart services, fee, etc. can be found on the PayPal site. Credit Card and PayPal transactions are processed via this service.

This shopping cart does require a PayPal account.

EXPENSE vs PROFITS

Expenses have been the same as the gross sales and write offs, which include the expense of a home office and all that goes with, such as electric, computer hosting, IPS, etc. I do pay my webmaster to do all of the work in composing the site so this was a big expense that can be forfeited if you can master the site itself.
