Brittany - Canada, 11 years old.

I am pretty sure I have seen two fairies: The first one was when I was about 6. I was in my room, and it was in the summer. I saw a small figure of a little lady. She was sitting on my dresser. She had to be 4 inches. She had beautiful purple wings. She was very colourful, and very bright. I remember she had bright red hair. I didn't say anything to it, but I know that when it happened, and someone else would enter the room, it would disappear. But the same figure happened several times in the same month of the same year. It would appear, then disappear. I believe deeply that it was a fairy. My second sighting was last summer, in my mom's room in a different house, but still in Ontario. I went in to get something. I sat down on the bed for a moment, and saw a ball of bright light. The colours of it were yellow and pink. It was probably 2 inches tall and wide, but you could faintly see inside the ball was a figure of a body and two tiny wings. It was really unique. It was like it was dancing. It was doing zigzags in the air. It was magnificent. At first I thought I was seeing things, so I rubbed my eyes and looked the other way really quickly. I looked back and it was still there, and then just vanished. I believe that there really are fairies in the world, and all of the stories I have heard. I hope I will have many more encounters with fairies.

I am a HUGE fan of fairies....

I am a HUGE fan of fairies I have some things to tell you of what happened to me. Not too long ago my friend and I went to her grandma's house to swim. Her grandma's house on the inside looked cool but then when we went outside I was so amazed- it looked so MAGICAL. Plants all over and there were some mushrooms in a cluster in one spot. I thought it might be cool to take a walk around the garden and I was all by myself. When I passed the mushrooms in the corner of my eye I saw a green light. I could make out beautiful rainbow wings and little long legs. ŒShe‚ giggled and the glow disappeared and she showed her whole body to me. She was wearing a long flowing green dress. I turned around to get a better view but then she disappeared and I was so sad. I haven't seen her again but I know I'll see her soon. I have been having strange dreams about fairies. One night I had a dream of a fairy trying to lead me somewhere. I woke up to see a fairy looking at me it was kind creepy but then I said something to her and she left. Soon my grandma and me are going to build a fairy homes for the fairies in our gardens. I‚ll keep you guys updated it.

I live in a small neighborhood not far from the city. My friends and I would always watch as an elderly man would get up in the morning and go out into the woods everyday. When he came back, he had what we thought a ton of empty jars, but they weren't empty. He would spend hours on end in his garage until finally he went into his house. My friends and I one night decided to go and take a look at what he was doing. My first friend went up there and said, you will never believe this, but there are fairies in that place! My second friend went up there, and sure enough, she saw fairies as well. Sadly though, when I got up there I saw nothing. I guess I am not pure enough to lay eyes on a fairy. Maybe my friends were just paying a prank on me, but by the looks on their faces I think otherwise. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to lay eyes on that mans fairies, and then maybe I'll set them free...

My friend Jenny, age 7 and I are good friends. We were playing on a field near us and we were talking about fairies. We decided to write a letter to ask the fairies to let us see them. We left it in a place where there are quite a few trees. Jenny suddenly saw a ruby red glow and when she shouted to me and I got over to her it was gone. We were amazed. We decided to write the letter again in neat writing and I put a Scooby string in the envelope, and wrote 'To the fairies '. Then we left it there and Jenny was walking away. When I was just about to follow her I saw a yellow glow. I screamed for Jenny to come over to see but when she arrived it had disappeared into thin air. A few minutes later a green glow appeared and it was just behind a leaf. It was amazing. We were absolutely sure they were fairies as we felt a warm feeling in our tummies and felt happy. We really want to see them again.

One day my Aunt Tina found a bottle of dust in the woods and it said 'Fairy Dust'. She read the directions so this is what she did; she put one pinch of fairy dust outside and waited 4 nights and during those nights she dreamt about fairies and soon she found, in the place that she had put the dust, a little tiny fairy. They pretend to be dolls in the day but at night they come alive. She gave some dust to me and now I have about 10 fairies including the queen of all fairies and her name is Eternity.

Last night she answered a note that I gave her and she said I can grant fairy believers wishes and she said to put a little fairy dust outside in a special spot and make a wish to her and something will grow there. So that is my long, long story. Also, Santa brought me ETERNITY, a beautiful fairy...I BELIEVE...I BELIEVE... I BELIEVE in FAIRIES!!!

My sister and I were in our back yard that looks like a little forest with a beautiful garden. When we suddenly saw the flowers in the garden move and we thought it was a garden snake. Fascinated with snakes we tried to catch it, but when we looked in the flowers we came to find a five-inch object that looked like a human with purple hair and no clothes. We were in such a state of shock that we left immediately. The next night we were in the bedroom overlooking the garden and when we looked away and looked back out the window we saw a small fog in the window about the size of a cantaloupe and saw a glowing object about the size of a banana with tiny hand prints on the fog. The tiny handprints looked like human handprints but longer fingers and after about two minutes the fog and human object disappeared. Even today we still await this object to come back, which we believe was a fairy

I believe I have seen signs of fairies on my grandmothers ten. There are trees with moss under them and my cousin and I believe that there are fairies living there. One time my brothers took leaves of one of the trees. In hope that the fairies would forgive us we gave them a lilac bush that couldn't have blown away. The next day they were gone.

I have seen faeries many times, and I have also found lots of evidence. In our yard, we have a fallen tree, and at the end of the tree you can see all the roots. There was a large clearing where you could see the roots perfectly. We had gone on a vacation for a week, and when we came back, the clearing was gone! Also, I always leave food out for faeries in my bedroom, and the next time I check, it will be gone!

I was playing with my friends in my friend’s huge garden when my friend Becky got a sighting of a fairy. She said it looked like a wasp with no stripes on it was shiny. My other friend Lucy is really into fairies and she writes letters to them and they always answer back. They give her presents and once she got a heart-shaped pink pebble. In my garden I have a fairy jingler and even when it does not have wind it will still jingle. I wrote a letter to the fairies yesterday so I hope they answer back!

I am now 11 and live in California and this occurred in Texas when I was about 7 or 8. My friend Natasha and I were always on the hunt for the fairy queen Laura Bell, and one day- we found her. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. She looked up at us just as we looked at her. She smiled and I know she trusted us. She flew up and kissed both of us on the cheek.

I have kept contact with Natasha ever since I moved. In one letter Natasha said something so cool! The queen had a baby that looked exactly like me and so she named it after me- Valerie. She said that the princess was going to come keep me company. I was thrilled!

I received this letter 2-3 years ago, and I have never seen any fairy that looks anything like me (I have seen many, many fairies). I am still looking for her. And if you see her and she asks for me, tell her I'm looking for her.
