A young believer hears a calling...

Hi,My name is Rachel and I'm 12 years old. I
have believed in fairies all my life, although a lot of people think
it very silly I don't care what they think.
I was in my bedroom taking something out of my
wardrobe when I looked out of my window. I hadn't heard anything
and I wasn't looking for anything out there. I have no idea what
made me look but I did.
I saw a tiny boy dressed in brown trousers that
looked like they were made out of leaves. He looked up at me and
flew off. I couldn't believe my eyes. I ran down stairs to tell
my mummy. My mummy and I found some amazing hand-made fairy models
on the internet. They were hundreds of pounds so we decided to make
one of our own.
I was just thinking about what different fairies
look like and would wear, when I looked out of the back door window
and saw a small person fly by, with long black hair and a long black
sort-of dress. She went by so quickly but I also managed to get
a glimpse. Nothing actually made me look except from a strange feeling
I had. I like think that this was the fairies wanting me to look,
not just coincidence.

We received this amazing letter from a young girl in Illinois.
Fairy's can be found just about anywhere!

Hello, my name is Michelle. When I was 13, last
year, my friend Kelli drove us up to Cuba Road in Barrington, Illinois.
We turned onto a small road right off of Cuba in search of ghosts
or fairies and followed the small winding road onto DeerPath road.
There were no electrical lights so it was easy to spot lightning
bugs and other things in the darkness. We stopped by 4 willow trees
all alongside each other on the road and walked past them. The minute
we did we were attacked by a swarm of flies and mosquitoes....we
were in a ring of many different trees. I knew we were in some kind
of trouble since this was a way of attracting fairies and other
spirits. We were slapping ourselves repeatedly when I saw a light
in the distance. It seemed to have moved behind the trees, only
flashing once clearly away from a tree but it all of a sudden turned
right in our direction. This was no lightning bug...it had a blue
aura around it and seems to have a long slim body and a small humming
noise that sounded peaceful as it glided past our heads. After that
2 more were spotted flying around us and then they followed the
first one up into the trees. We left but had sweet dreams for a
while after. I give you permission to write this story on this website
in hopes it give others hope that they do exist!!!

A young lady has an amazing experience at school!

One day I was outside at school and some of
the kids were playing a loud game, when everything got really quiet.
I saw a slight shimmer over by the trees and when I went to check
it out I saw a small creature that appeared out of nowhere. It had
a set of wings, was extremely short, it had a head, two arms, two
legs, and it looked as if it was dressed in leaves. As soon as I
reached it, it disappeared then everything became loud again.

A whimsical fairy teases a young lady in Los Angeles

My parents recently got a divorce, and my mom
and I live in my grandfather's house in suburban Los Angeles. At
twilight last Friday (August 9th.2004), I was on the computer and
looked right outside the window to my left, where there are ferns
and plants overgrown in what used to be,a walkway. There was no
wind out, and there usually isn't a breeze in the walkway.
I looked out at the green shrubs, and a leaf
on was bouncing... and there was no wind! Above the greens, there
is only sky. The leaf didn't bounce a little, the leaf was bouncing
a good 3-4 inches up and down. I stopped what I was doing to look
at it for a bit-at least 3 minutes. The leaf continued to bounce,
but it stopped being so rhythmic. It even stopped for a few minutes
(I lost interest and went back on the computer), but when I turned
around, it bounced once more than stopped. It was almost like a
three-year-old bouncing on a bed, and getting caught jumping on
it.
I got really happy that I finally saw something
with my own eyes (even though I didn't see anything more than a
leaf). Now it's almost a regular thing to me, this particular fairy,
likes to play on the green shrubs outside the window. I hope continue
contact with the fairies around me, and hopefully, one day, see
one!!

We received this charming letter of wood sprite visitors in

For the past 4 days or so I have been seeing
what appears to be trolls and elves. I have been seeing their faces
in the leaves and trunks of all kinds of trees every where. They
all have big noses and pointy ears and some of them are wearing
hats. In the trunk of a tree nearby my house, I saw and still see,
what appears to be an old man inhabiting a very old tree. Yesterday
and today his eyes were closed but two days ago they were opened
and he looked like he was wearing glasses.
Thanks - John

First of all, I can't believe I found this web
site. It is quite relieving to know I'm not the only one who has
witnessed such a unique event. This is something I have kept to
myself for the most part. Anyway, I was about 7 or 8 years old.
I was in the living room with family who were talking amongst themselves.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I saw this extreme bright white light
(almost animated) which had the shape of "Tinkerbell".
The perimeter of it was quite detailed and it was solid white. It
was about 3 to 4" in height. The image whizzed/ran about 10
feet and ducked behind the couch. I chased it and found myself frantically
lifting up the skirting on the bottom of the couch to gain a closer
look. I continued searching the living room/house until I was convinced
it had disappeared. Years later, I remember my Mom telling my brothers
there was no such thing as Santa Claus. Immediately, I spoke up
and said, "Yes, but there ARE Tinkerbells"...as my Mom
rolled her eyes.

A young lady has a truely blessed experience!

When I was 6 years old I lived in a small house
with a petite backyard and behind the fence was a mysterious forest.
My sister and I were strong believers of fairies and often we would
make 10-20 fairy houses at a time in our backyard. We knew they
were there.
Then one evening, my mother and I went outside
when the sky was pink and the sun was about to set to look for fairies.
And suddenly, my eyes caught something in the upper right of our
yard (our yard was about 10 feet long and 3 feet wide, very small
like I said), and from a vine twisted tree hanging over our yard
something small and graceful fluttered across the yard to another
tree near the lower right part of our yard. I remember so distinctly
how wonderful it was and I saw it smile in! a thin spider-woven
dress.
And all these years, I am 11 now, I have been
trying to convince other people of them but they just didn't get
the blessing of a sight that I saw. I've been trying to bring them
back to me because I know they were confused when I moved to one
home and then in the past two years another. And the forest was
cut down. But where I am now, they will always have a home with
me. I believe. And when I got to heaven, I will tell fairies to
be more public, but only the true believers get the blessing. -

I saw fairies in my room about 4 years a go.
I was sleeping and a light woke me up - there was a boy fairy showing
me something with my name on it. He left and about ten female fairies
came and started laughing then they started spinning 20 mph and
a body that was very bright appeared.

Hello,
My name is Brandy. I live in Idaho and I have
believed in the supernatural since I was a small child. A couple
of months ago I had the privilege to see a fairy in my garden. He
was about 4 feet 2 inches high...a rather tall specimen for a nature
fairy. His tunic was a grayish-green made with a sort of shimmer
cloth that looked like the tops of aspen leaves or spider webs with
dew on them, his hair was mousy brown and messy, he was wearing
breeches of mud brown cloth and he was barefoot.
His face was strange...pale with a golden shimmer
under his eyes which seemed to change with the light and his ears
were pointed. After he left the garden smelled like an aspen forest
after a rain fall, so I think he might have been a spirit of a young
aspen tree.
He seemed unafraid of my sister and I and after
a minute of suspicion between us he seemed fairly comfortable in
our presence.
Thank you,
Brandy

A young woman shares her amazing story!

My name is Lailee and I live in Northern NJ.
I have always loved fairies... This is a strange experience and
I SWEAR it's true. This first happened two years ago, and oddly
enough, it happened again yesterday. I do not think this is a coincidence,
and I think it is my duty to report this strange occurrence.
Yesterday, I was in my backyard seeing if the
raspberries were out yet. There is a short tree about
five or six feet tall, and grape vines are tangled all around and
in it, and so the grape vines form a sort of canopy around the tree
and it is truly beautiful. I was looking around to see if any of
the ground-dwelling plants had bloomed (strawberries and blueberries)
when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a strange light. It seemed
like a steady glow and it was midday so of course I was confused.
I went closer and realized it was in the canopy.
I went in and to my left a bright blue light
darted over from my left to my right and then disappeared. I was
very shaken about this, because I was home alone at the time and
this really freaked me out. I ran up to my house and locked all
the doors, called my friend and watched TV. My friend then said,
"It was probably a fairy." Then it dawned on me, there
might be fairies in my backyard.
Later that night my friends and I were to have
a sleepover. I was sitting in the car waiting for my mom. I was
still thinking about the fairy and then in the bushes in front of
the car, I saw a bright blue light and then another and another.
Overall, I think there were about seven, however I was freaking
out so this number might not be accurate. My mom came out and got
in the car. I pointed the lights out to her. We got out to go inspect
them, but as we neared, they faded and eventually disappeared
