I've always believed in fairies, but I never really thought about them. I found your site and I thought about them more and more and more... then I thought, "Hey, wait a second... I live in NEW HAMPSHIRE!!! There's no fairies where I live!" But I tried not to linger around that thought to much in case I jinx it. I decided to do an experiment. You see, a looong time ago when I was around... I don't know 8 years old, I bought a wooden bird house at Micheal's craft store. Instead of getting a tiny house with a hole in it, I got a bigger one that looked like a cottage. As soon as I go it home that day, I painted it blue with a red roof and a brown chimeny. Oh, and a green porch. I glued some colored feathers on the roof and painted on some pictures of a humming bird, a leaf, and a butterfly. I glued some small bells lining up on the pointy part of the roof, put sparkle glitter in the chimeny and on the walkway, and little round butterfly beads on the wall below the windows outside. I couldn't paint the inside so I did my best to set up a feather chair and a paper box. Anyways , I decided to put the house on a marble table near my living room. I set up my computer camera to take a picture every ten minutes during the night and I set up the house and turned off ALL the lights (did I mention we don't have any blue ones?) and went to bed. I could barely sleep that night because I was so anxious to see if a fairy really would come. The next moring I woke up at 6:30 am instead of 7:05 am. I ran down-stairs to check the camera and I was pretty dissapointed. There was no fairy. All black pictures. Pitch dark. However, when I checked the LAST ONE I saw... not only a "mysterious blue glow", but also an... elf? I really don't know for sure but there's something there that looks a lot like a boy around 11 years old like me but instead of a normal face there were pointy ears and thick eyebrows. I think he was smiling too! He was facing to the right so you only see one side of his body and the fairy behind or maybe inside the lamp gave off a blue glow. Here's the picture: I hope it comes out!

When I first encountered a fairy, well I didn't actually see the fairy I heard it. It was late at night around eleven, I couldn't go to sleep because I had the feeling of being watched. Then whispering came from my bookshelf. The bookshelf is connected to the wall and is huge and crammed full of books so it would be the perfect place for a fairy to hide. I got really scared. I kept watching the book shelf trembling, I couldn't tell what they were saying! So I just stared at the book shelf. Then a tiny head popped out from behind a book. I think it had black hair but I couldn't tell. It sort of glowed then disappeared so from this day I am a fairy believer

All our lives, we've been seeing weird things. Our lives meaning me, and my three best friends. The first time I saw, what I'm convinced, is a fairy, is in 2008. When I was 11, I was hanging out in 1 of my best friend, Amny's garden. We saw flecks of blue light falling from the sky and onto the ground. We didn't know what to think, so we both just stood and stared. Earlier, when Amny was having dinner in a resort, she saw blue lightballs falling against the window. She was about 6 then. She told me, that she was so scared that night, she could hardly sleep. And there are other times as well. Lots of other times. But we've never seen anything more clearly than that. We'd love to though…We'd REALLY love to.

I am eight years old, and I live in San Francisco CA. Here's the story of when I saw the fairies: My babysitter Ellen and I were driving to school in the morning and at the corner of my eye I saw quite a few fairies that were diffrent shades of red. When I looked back they were all gone. I told Ellen that I saw fairies that were very small and told her that I believe in fairies. I thought it was wierd because it happend after I met my tooth fairy.

It was yesterday and I was outside in the garden playing. I had my laptop outside and had put my camera on it on secretly to see if I could see a fairy. I had my conversation with my other fairy loving friend on instead so no-one knew I had my camera on. I told my friend I'd be right back and left it there. I ran inside and closed the door. A half hour later I rushed out and brought my laptop intside. Excited and nervous I finished my video and and watched over it... Almost immediantly a light blue orb hesitantly ventured out of the pear tree. It circled my garden many times, sometimes flikering in and out of view. Finally it stopped and floated closer and closer to the camera screen. As it did so, I could make out a tiny girl dressed in a petal skirt that came just below her knees. Also a tiny petal top. I couldn't make out her skin colour of hair colour as the orb's light was to light. However, I could make out that her eyes were light blue with a slight darkish green tinge. She moved forwards and seemed to be inspeting the camera. She flitted on and off the screen for a long time before she suddenly snapped her head to her right, (my left) and vanished. Then my body appeared and the video stopped. I am very exited but feel bad with myself because I feel I have decievied the fairies for further proof of their living. I feel they know this, and am going to make a fairy house for their approval. I'll keep updating,

I saw a fairy once, when it was about 2 years ago. Here in Saipan, which is a small island in the Pacific near Guam. The islanders here believe in many magical things, including this creature called a taotao-mona, which are spirits of nature or something. I believe in them a little too. But my FairySighting was also very cool but also scary! I wanted to ask if there are different kinds of Fairies, like in stories and other stuff? It was once when I just couldn't get to sleep, i heard someone, or something giggling outside. I went to check and i saw this light dancing around with my dog chasing it! I was kind of scared. I didn't want to approach it but then it approached me. I could see the small glimpse of little people in the light, there i thing if i remember there were 3. They left before i could even ask them what they were, or what they were doing. But i will never forget how small they looked! They were maybe a little more than about 7 inches...

I have had 2 sighting's my self over the years, but my friends and family would like me to share their's as well. I was a young 5 1/2 y.o and was frollicking outside in the winter, dressed in snug clothes. I had skipped over to our pear tree and was getting reading to climb up it. My mother called to me to wait for her before I did so as she went inside to collect her water colours to paint the nature. I looked up into the tree unpatiently and saw a flash of pink soar past. Then another, and another, and then a blue, and then a green, and more and more flashes of light flickered past. I had stared upwards in bursting curiousty. As soon as I heard my mother's voice, they dissappeared. Another of my experiences was when I was 12 and searching for the lights I had seen those many years ago now. I was stepping over a patch of flowers when I heard giggling. I turned to my left and saw the same lights. I turned on one foot to get a better look, lost my footing, and fell backwards. Just as I was about to fall into our little paddling pool (it was Summer), all of the lights lunged forwards and swarmed around me. They pushed me fowards from my back and lifted me upwards over the flowers. I was amazed. They had lifted me higher then I had ever been before, except when climbing trees. It was like I was flying. They pushed past me again and circled me a few times before the flew off. As they did so, I shouted thanks to them, and prayed I'd see them again. When my Grandmother, Daniella, was in her bedroom at night when she was around 17, she heard some male like voices in her head, whispering lovely things about mythical creatures. She sat up and looked around. In her mirror she saw a flash of brown light. Her window opened and closed out of nowhere and the voices stopped. Scared, she locked her window, closed her blinds, and didn't fall asleep for another hour. My friend Sophie was nearly 8 when her half meeting happened. She was in her car on her way to her cousin Eleanor's house when she noticed a deer infront of their family's car. She screeched to her family to stop the car, but they simply told her to be quite. She banged on her windows to almost warn the deer, but they drove right through it and it dissappeared in a wisp of smoke-like dust. She doesn't know if it has anything to do with fairies, but we like to think it does. Update: I was just about to fall asleep when I heard twinkling laughter and saw bright lights dotting here and there. I opened my eyes and the sparkling dots were spiraling around and around my room laughing and singing. This carried on for another 3-4 minutes before they dissappeared! I saw those fairies again last night!

I have had 4 fairy sightings in my life. I was around 7 and a half years old. I was at our local park, The Grove, climbing a wonderful tree. I finally got to the top and sat looking out into the distance. As I was adjusting my seating my hands brushed against against something cool and smooth. I remember looking down and seeing a single, sparkling wing. I can't remember exactly how big it was, but I do know that it was made to the point of perfection. It was glowing a light blue, wonderful patterns etched into it. I still have it today, and I believe it is a fairy wing. When was 8. I remember this one vividly. It was my first time home alone, and I had just had a bath. I was downstairs. I had just remembered I had forgot to take out the plug, so I went upstairs to the bath. I opened the door and my bottom jaw fell. The bath water had been turned a darker blue with a pinkish tinge, and bubbles were everywhere I looked. I ventured further into the bathroom and a bubble passed me. As it did so I saw a tiny twirling figure in it. She had light blue skin, closed eyes, perfected body shape and posture, a knee high blue dress, and flowing blue hair. I got scared as all the bubbles were starting the circle me, so I rushed to the bath and pulled the plug. Almost immediantly all the bubbles popped and the figures dissappeared with them! When I was 10 and outside in my garden with my friend Samantha. It was my birthday, but the end of the day and Sam was here for a sleepover. It was around 8:30 when it happened. A heavenly singing filled the garden, and Sam and I held eachothers hands and stared at eachother. Sam told me she thought it was fairies. I nodded and replied "I've seen on a website about fairies that this music is good to dance to" So we got up and danced together. The music stopped when we stopped and we heard echoing laughter. Then everything stopped and it was silent. Next is my most recent sighting of a fairy. It was yesterday, actually. I was thinking back over my recent encouters with fairies, and I decided to go outside to look for some. I was searching near my tree house but couldn't find anything, so I decided to go up into my tree house to look over the garden. I rushed up the ladder into my tree house, but as I opened the door and went in, I got the shock of my life! There was a wonderfully handsome fairy in there, about 5-6 inches tall. He was sitting facing me as if he had been expecting me. I remember that he was wearing ragged brown shorts, a dirty old brown top, and black pixie boots. But despite all the clothing, his face was perfect. He had a slghtly curved nose, sparkling brown eyes, a full lipped mouth that was curved into a mesmerizing smile, and floppy back hair that was slightly spiky. His wings were brownish and shorter then I though a fairy's to be. He flew up to me and then circled me as if he was looking me up and down. I turned with him and the same music that had played with me and my friend played in my head. I smiled at him, he smiled back. Then he flew out of the window. I rushed down the steps, out of the tree house and round it, trying to catch sight of him again, but could not.

When I was little I cant remember what age, I was in town with my nan and cousin, me my cousin and my nan always have believed in fairies (im not sure if my cousin still does) but anyway me and my cousin were looking in a pile of rocks (in a garden that we call the fairy garden) and as I was looking through the rock pile im not sure if it was my imagination or not but it felt so real, there was a tiny room with a red carpet, I think a yellow wall, a cream and gold lamp and a I think a red sofa with a two fairys in it a girl and boy it looked a bit cartoon but I will never forget that memory!, I so hope to see one again ive been researching about them for the past two days I cant remember why I went online to research them but im so glad I did.

When i was about 8 years old, my mum and I made a fairy house out of twigs, leaves, moss, etc. We placed it in the backyard of our house, in our garden, and usually filled up a little seashell with water for the Fairies. One of the times when i went to go check on the water level, I found some really pretty beads and rocks that neither I. nor my mum put there. Ever since then, I've always believed in fairies, and I'm always carving little wood furniture for my many fairy houses.
