My friends and I have always studied faries and this happens to me quite often. I live on 25 acers of land and it is very wooded. I have a small plastic pond in my backyard and there is a statue of a fairy playing a harp next to it and sometimes on a calm peacefull day I would hear giggling and a harp playing .I think there are faries in my backyard.

Once I saw a fairy when I was on a feild trip at school we were eating lunch and there was a little green fairy everything was green exept her skin and hair she was only about 2 inches tall and one inch wide.

We had a small, tropical 'garden' in the front of our house. It had a few coconut trees, palm trees and a few flowers- and it was always booming with wildlife. When I was around seven, I had been playing outside by myself infront of the garden. I felt something watching me, and then out of the corner of my eye, I saw something small fluttering a few feet above some plants. I turned to look at it, but before I could get a really good look at it, it just suddenly disappeared. I had conviced myself that it was a hummingbird and told my father that I had seen one; however, he told me that there were no hummingbirds in Hawaii. Though we had hummingbird moths, it didn't seem like one. A few days later, I had an exact repeat of the experience, except I was able to catch a glimpse of the body color. It was a very light shade of gray, almost white. I told my mother of this next, and she exclaimed to me with delight that I had seen a fairy. Apparently, she had seen a society of fairies ranging from babies to elders at night when she was sleeping between her parents. She had stirred awake at midnight to light chattering and small, dim lights. Fairies were dancing around her- laughing and having the time of their lives. She said she mingled with them a bit before her parents roused from sleep. Then they disappeared in a blink of an eye. So that's the story of my mother and I! I have always been facinated with mythical creatures all of my eighteen years (or at least when I was able to understand the stories of them), so this just boosts up my believe ;]

About four months ago I was laying in my bed at around twelve o’clock. I was very tired. Out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a mosquito eater, a small one. I closed my eyes to go to sleep, but then I thought I'd better take it outside. I got a chair and put to the corner of my bedroom. I stood on it and looked up, but the mosquito eater wasn't there any more. I looked all around my room and in my closet, it wasn’t anywhere. I went to bed and thought nothing about it. I completely forgot about it until my friend told me about a lot of magical things. I then told her about that night. When I thought about it, I got this bubbly feeling. As I thought more and more about that night the more clear the image of a small person became. I named this person Lilly. I had many more times where I thought I saw something like this, and every time I got happier. Once on my way back from the shower, I saw a streak of sparkly light pass in front of me. Soon Lilly became something that I knew was there but I couldn’t see when I was looking, but every once in a while out of the corner of my eye I will get that bubbly feeling. The sightings are slowly decreasing and I'm worried.

The Fairy Seeker, Ohio

I have always been interested in flowers and tried every way to learn more and more, till soon I memorized almost every flower I've studied. One early morning I was in my garden tending my flowers and a spark flew in front of my face. I turned and saw a small fairy giving me a shy smile. I knew at once she was wearing a Dahlia hybrid dress and a rose petal side bag. I bent down and picked a strawberry seed and turned to give it to her, but she was gone. Ever since I have been trying to learn more and more about fairies and this mysterious one who visited my garden. So far I have only seen traces of fairies but none yet. I still will always believe!

This is about a couple of encounters myself and my sister had with faeries.It was around October time 2008. For a long time I had an interest in faeries but I had never done anything further to learn about them until a couple of weeks before our encounters. One late night, myself and my sister were in our front room just talking and all of a sudden she started to freak out a little bit (not in a bad way) but she was shouting "Did you see that? did you see it? That was a faerie!" She described seeing a large blue light flying across the front room, I hadn't seen it but went to bed asking for the faeries to show themselves to me. The next day, we were in the front room and were heading to our rooms upstairs, my sister turned off the light while I was still in the room and there was a huge blue light (round in shape, looking like an orb) floating in the middle of the room but it quickly disappeared. It happened so fast I again went to bed asking to be able to get another glimpse of the faeries. I guess they heard me because a couple of days later, I was sitting in my front room and this time a huge white light started buzzing about the front part of my front room where we have all the plants, just going back and forth a couple of times and then disappeared behind the stereo system. Occasionally we still see them, they appear mainly when we light candles hopefully I will get them on camera one day. But ever since that happened, every now and then I will get a sound in my ear kind of like the flapping of wings, almost a buzzing sound.

When I was about 9 years old I was taking a bath and at the foot of the door I swore I saw a Woman, She was Glowing Yellow and she had no face, I Blinked and she was gone. I shock my head in Disbelief. 5 minutes later, I saw her again, I blinked, and she was still there. I heard a song, she hit a high note then she was gone yesterday (Jan 21) My older sister went for a walk, She said she would call when she was walking home. I said "Have fun!" and the phone rang. I said "Hello? Hi! where are you?" She said "I'm waling down the driveway..." Alan, My little brother said there she is! "Wait, She is waring, What? White." I gasped. I was her and she diapered. I was calm though, and she called every minute and She kept Appearing and disappearing. I thought I was going crazy. I thought I passed out for a minute for two. When I got up, the phone rang again. I was scared and she was she was walking home. I looked outside to make sure it was her. I ran to her. It really was her. She did not believe me. And every Time a saw the fake Elizabeth's (My sister) I saw her glowing and I saw wings. That really scared me.

I saw a fairy on my birthday. Me and my 2 friends where dancing around a lamp singing a fairy song. Then there where blue lights in my yard and my neighboors. My sisters couldn't see them. Then my mom scared us and made all the fairies go away. Then that same night one of my sisterss saw a fairy! It was wearing no clothes!

All my life I have been trying to find fairies  but one day I threw a ball of my fence I went to get it so I stood on a tree stump and I looked over the fence and saw hundreds of tiny people with wings all colourful and beautiful I fell off the stump.hearing that noise they must have hidden because when I looked again nothing was there. Another time it was a sunny day I read somewhere that fairies love honey and fruit so I hollowed out an apple and filled it with honey and placed it in the most flower crowded place in the garden by my oak tree. I left it for 24 hours  then came back the next day I saw something move I thought it was a bug so I approched it and I saw beautifully coloured wings then in a blink of an eye it was gone,

I am a fourteen year old from Pennsylvania and it is mid winter. I am sure that I am perfectly sane and that I am not on drugs. I have sighted faeries three times in the last two days. I am wiccan, but these are more than just imaginings of a wishful thinking novice. In the shower I had stuck my head out because there was a soft noise that pricked my attention. I stepped back in and looked at the wall of the shower that was flashing with a handful of silver and black wings that were slightly iridescent. I blinked once and they were gone. The second time I was in my bedroom and something flitted past my ear humming, and then presumably out of my cracked window. Only a few moments ago I was in the kitchen with one of my friends, and I looked down at the floor where she had just walked past and a small creature about an inch and a half long with those same wings darted across the floor and was gone the second I blinked. I think the faeries may be attracted to our kitchen because we hold a large stock of rose petals in our tea cupboard for loose leaf tea, my bed is made of oak and I was in the shower.. faeries sometimes like water right?
