I remember seeing a golden glowing orb in2009.It was twilight time and I saw it flying a few feet above my head. There was a trail of sparkly stuff behind it. The atmosphere around was calm and enchanting and I felt light-hearted and happy. I did not blink but kept staring at it to study it and to make sure I was not dreaming, When it got a little higher up it vanished right in front my eyes. I truly believe this was a fairy and hope to see more one day. |

I remember some time back in 2009 I was getting ready to go to the movies with my family. They were not ready to go as yet, so I just went outside to wait.It was twilight outside with a beautiful enchanting atmosphere ,I was compelled to look up at the sky. Then I saw a glowing golden orb, the light was coming from it and it left a trail behind it. It was not high in the sky but only a few feet above me.I was not about to blink at all and just kept watching it intensely then it suddenly disappeared.I felt calm and happy afterward.I told my family but they did not believe me.I am currently trying to connect with faires some more and will share any future stories with you. Just KEEP BELIEVING !!!!!! |

I was reading my book about fairies and all of a sudden I saw in front of me a white fairy about 3 inches tall and another one that was blue. One of them said, "What are you reading?". I said, "I'm reading a book about Tinker Bell, do you want to hear it?" The fairies said, "Yes, we would love to." I read them the whole book. And then they were gone.

First was when we were at the glen with a group of friends. There was a massive tree that had collapsed and our friend Sean went to look at it. We were still walking on when he called us over and handed us a small black door with a silver handle and hook on the back. It must of been about 4inches tall. The other time was when Zoe was staying at my house. I was walking up to the school to meet her. It was very quiet in the street and there was no wind. I walked past a small tree and it started to rustle about. When I looked it stopped instantly. There was nothing in it to make it move, no birds or anything, so I continued to walk on and as soon as I turned my head, it started to rustle again. The other few times were on the same night and in the morning. First was at night when Zoe and I were looking at faerie websites. We were just talking about stuff we had learned about them when I seen a bright white light dart from one end of the room to another. Like it was a tiny person running away. Next time was when I was going to the bathroom. I opened my bedroom door (my room faces the staircase) and I noticed a tiny pink light on the stairs. It was about a centimetre. That night before we went to bed we left some foods the faeries like on my windowsill. We went to bed and about 10 minutes later we heard one of the pots on the windowsill getting knocked. We both heard it clearly and it was definately the pot that made the noise. I checked to see if the window was left open, in case the wind was making it move, but it was shut. The last thing that happened was when we woke up in the morning. We were sitting on the laptop again and my parents were still asleep in their room. My bedroom is directly above the kitchen and we heard knocking and moving about in the kitchen. We stayed quiet for a while and listened. My parents were definately still asleep. No one else was downstairs. |

The first time I ever saw a fairy was when I got up in the middle of the night and I couldn't go back to sleep. So I opened my eyes and there was a fairy that was at least 3 inches high! She has light blue hair and a long dark blue dress with white wings shaped like a spade! The second time was when I was eating dinner and a looked out the window and I saw a white flower fairy and she was flying in big circles on my backporch and I also saw a brownish orange fairy, she was wearing a brown dress with orange highlights in it. She also had dark brown hair. I blinked and she faded away! |

i was about nine years old me and my friend went to the forest alone and we heard fairies and saw a golden orb. We heard giggling, a cough then a scream and a short singing voice. Ever since that day i have STRONGLY believed in fairies. For the past couple of years i have continuosly left food for the fairies, taked to them and made a little area in my garden for them, yet since that day they havent let me see them or hear them? The area im in now isnt the same as the one i heard the fairies, should i go back to where i heard them first? Is there anything you should wear/not wear to attract fairies aswell? The food keeps going or the next day seems "lifeless" but i dont know what im doing wrong. We are very happy to have these encounters and we hope to experience some more.

The reason I have always believed in faeries is because of an experience when I was about 10. I shared a bedroom with my younger brother and one night we were looking at the triangle of light formed on the wall from the streetlight outside coming through a gap in the curtains and talking about ghosts and goblins. We fell asleep and my brother woke us up because he was having a nightmare. My mother came to see and because we had scared ourselves took my brother to sleep in her room and sent my father to sleep in ours. What happened much later I am convinced was not a dream because despite what happened it had none of the qualities of a dream and I knew I was fully awake at the time. In fact I woke up. There was a fine veil draped over my bed like you see these mosquito nets only much finer, like spider silk and it shimmered slightly with rainbow colours. I looked across at my father and his bed was wrapped tight in the stuff like a cocoon. Flying about the room were small fairies, the sort you expect to see when you know only fairy stories, but it was the variety that stood out. The sizes ranging from about two inches to almost a foot tall. They were dressed in all colours that you find in a garden and they were both male and female. And there were dozens of them. I could not clearly see their wings because they beat so fast. But what really caught my attention was the two human sized faeries standing at the foot of my bed. I knew they were not human because they were too beautiful, a man and a woman. I did not know who they were, they did not speak to me, and I was not frightened. They exuded a sort of peace and love and although they did not speak I knew they were telling me something. I reached out and touched the veil and it tore. A small fairy came in through the tear and this upset the pair at the foot of the bed. The man raised his hand towards me and I fell asleep. When I woke again everything had gone. I know this sounds like a dream but it was not. Some of the details I would not have imagined at the time, it is only since discovering the faerie museum in Orkney two years ago and reading up about fearies. I know now that Queen Mab was one of the two large faeries and I have a better idea of what they were asking me to do, but this I keep to myself. |

In a small town in georgia where my sister and i grew up there is a small yet beautiful stream. many people come from all around to collect the water for drinking. my sister and i love this place and because of the very mystical setting have always referred to it as where the fairies live. years we have visited this place and inspite believing never came across a fairy. a short couple of weeks ago we made a small gift of a jewel incrusted pewter fairy to show our respect. it is tucked away beneath a waterfall and was meant for the faries alone. however upon return we snapped a small photo of our gift. imagine our surprise when we saw the small glowing outline and figure that we can only conclude is a fairy admiring our gift to them. we are very excited and there are no words to detour us from our conclusion. we simply wanted to share our joy. |

This past summer i visited my grandmothers house. she has a very green thumb and a very big garden. one day we decided to build a fairy house, because we had both had expieriences with fairies before. so after we built it we went inside for a while. after about 1 and a half hours we went to check it and the door was open. ok so after aoll of that happened we went out in her porch and i started to sing a song while quickly glimpsing were the fairy house was. all of the sudden i saw something, like a white figure somehow flew right in front of my eyes. and i knew it wasn't a but for it's size, it was about 3 inches tall. i think it hid behind my grandmothers white statue because it looked like it had an extra teeny second head! i hope i get more expierriences with the fairy's. oh and by the way my first expierinence with fairys was when they gave me a letter saying they would always love care and look after me no matter what! you should try it one time.... show that you really DO belive in fairys!!!!!! |

I left cake out on a napkin and left it out for the fairies for a few days. Today the napkin and cake were gone, not a crumb left. would the fairies have taken the napkin too? Any animal would not have taken the napkin. Also, we are getting a puppy, but I am scared it will scare away the fairies. In peoples sightings, they say fairies don't like dogs. Is that true? I thought fairies liked all animals, so please answer the best you can. Finally, I have a small ladle that is just the right size for the fairies, and every day I leave it out with a little water in it, and when i get most of the water is gone. I leave it in my room. |
