I have believed in fairies for the past two years. My first fairy
sighting happened in early Spring of 2006 in my friend Lea's backyard
at her house in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was early morning, my two
friends, Lea and Darby and I were walking around in Lea's backyard
and we had left warm milk and honey for the fairies the night before.
We had also left a note, but they hadn't answered it. As we were
walking around, a strange bead on the ground caught Lea's eyes.
It was a large, red, wooden bead with orange Draconian designs on
it. We decided it was a gift from the fairies that they had hid
from us for fun. We were all talking in the backyard, deciding exactly
what it meant when we all looked up at the large Palo Verde tree
in Lea's yard. It was covered in dozens and dozens of fairies. They
all wore clothes made from leaves, sticks, and flowers. Some had
instruments, but some didn't. They weren't making any noise though,
they all sat or stood on the tree's branches completely silent.
Lea, Darby, and I all stared at them in awe. The fairies, the beings
we had wanted to see so badly, were finally with us! We stayed with
them, just watching them, for several minutes. I'm not sure why,
but for some reason I can't remember what happened next. For some
reason, we went inside. The whole experience was so exhilarating
and breath-taking!
My next experience with the fairies was sometime
later in 2006, except it was in Seattle, Washington. It was a windy,
stormy day and my little sister Elise and I were outside looking
for fairy footprints in the mud. She started playing a wooden flute
that she had from a Festival awhile back and I started singing to
the tune of the flute. We were in the front yard, crouched down
by the grass and bushes. Suddenly I noticed a little white ball
of glowing light. Inside was a tiny fairy about a centimeter tall.
She had pure white hair, eyes, shoes, and flowing dress. Her eyes
were a milky gray-off white. I saw her for a split second, and then
she quickly floated away in the white "bubble". Since
she was flying so fast, I didn't really get a good look at her wings.
I tried to get Elise to see her, but she was gone without a trace.
My third sighting was in Seattle, Washington
in March 2007. It was a rainy day like it had been in my second
sighting. Except, unlike in my first two sightings, I was inside
my house. I had been reading Fairy Encounters all morning and my
dad told me to get off to vacuum the family room. I didn't want
to because I was enjoying the reading but I got off anyway. I walked
over to the window and through the rainy haze I saw a beautiful
fairy. She had medium-length, straight black hair and she was wearing
a sparkly black dress with stockings. Her eyes were a deep blue
and her wings were jet-black and bat-like. I saw her as she was
speeding across the yard. Since seeing all of them, I have made
a fairy house that includes fairy food, a bed, a couch, a pool of
water, and lots of shiny treasures and trinkets. I hope that I will
see many more fairies in the future and I give you permission to
reprint these onto your website because I want other fairy-believers
to read my
experiences and enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy reading other
believer's experiences.

I'm not sure if I've seen fairies but I get
these sorts of people giggling and talking in my head. But I really
believe in fairies so much. When people talk in my head its not
actually me thinking it though. And I'm trying to see if I can see
a fairy.

It was still winter, and that day I went to
my grandma's house and I was playing outside, I was humming my favorite
tune when all of a sudden I saw a butterfly, a monarch butterfly.
And butterflies are not supposed to be out in winter. I hope it
was a fairy but I don't know. But I know one thing it was very beautiful
.It was flying around a tree and it flow toward it and me flow away.
I saw were it went but then it jest disappeared. I will never forget
that day.

When I was seven I looked out the window and
I saw a girl with wings. She was carrying a little baby fairy and
she flew very quickly but at least I was able to see her along her
quick flight. Ever since I have believed in fairies.

I looked out my sister's window and I saw different
colored glowing lights! The most amazing part was I could see all
fifteen fairies very clear. There was a man fairy and he got down
on one knee in front of a woman fairy and about 30 seconds after
that the woman fairy grew very bright. I think he proposed to her!
Today my sister and I put out bread and strawberry jelly so all
the fairies could have it.

I was just reading some things from your site
and all I could see were fairies and I was singing "Ahna danen"
which in fairy language it means "loves to sing" and I
stuck my hand out after I had just taken a shower and everything
and I felt a cold spot that was moving when I looked down I had
a fairy on my hand when my dog came into the room the presence of
fairies were gone I don't think that they like dogs so anyway when
the presence was gone there was fairy dust everywhere!

Something just flew past my window and I don't
think it was a bird. It flew so fast that I could barely see it,
but I think it was brown and had light brown hair. I think it had
legs! First fairy sighting ever!

At the age of only 6 or 7 I saw a leprechaun.
It was St. Patrick's Day and my mom and I were taking a walk. I
heard a little man's laugh. Then out of the corner of my eye, I
saw a tiny running man dressed in all green with shiny little shoes.
I think he had red hair. He was about 4 and a half or 5 inches tall.
There have also been times when I have seen little glowing blue
or white orbs out of the corner of my eye. I sure hope they are
fairies. I really want to see a fairy right in front of me. I've
tried building houses and leaving food, but have not yet had a REAL
sighting. I hope I will get to see one front and center soon!

The first time I saw Fae (that I can remember)
I was with my friends Sonja and Simone; it was 2005, and it was
a sleepover, and we had just seen a movie about The Cottingen fairies
and we thought we would try to see fae. We were in the back yard
and I saw a purple fairy! Simone saw it, too! We couldn't believe
our eyes! Then we saw a red one! A blue one! And a green one! And
then, oh then, we saw the Queen fairy. We didn't know what the Queen
looked like before that, but right away we knew it was the Queen
Fairy! Sadly, Sonja could not see them. She has not believed in
fae ever since.
Since Sonja is Simone's big sister, Simone has
started to think she did not see them, and was just caught up in
the moment. But I will always
believe.
The purple one I saw had a broken wing. I made
sure the other fae took care of her every day that December, since
I could not get high up in the tree where they all lived. Although
I could not hear them talk, if I told them something funny, or if
we were having fun, I could hear them giggle! I became good friends
with the purple, and by January 2006 her wing was better! I got
a necklace from the fae after my friend Heather and I put food out
for them! Also, I got out of touch with them when my classes started
again, but I visit them still once in a while.
I get digital pix of them now and then too, and
at the beginning, the Queen fairy would follow me everywhere! I
would see fae at the park too every now and then. I also saw other
fae in my back yard. A green/blue one, a pink one, and a yellow
one, too!
My friends Alison and Meg have seen fae here,
too. Meg is younger than Alison, therefore Meg saw them but not
Alison. Alison didn't believe in fae because of that. But after
5 months, she changed her mind.
Then one day that year in August, I heard the
most beautiful music ever! Also, I heard bells in the middle of
the night. And I heard a girl talk to me, and say "Lizzie?
Where are you? Lizzie?!" That happened 2 times, and then it
stopped when my Great Grandma died. I would see random fae in the
forest for the rest of the year, until November. I met my fairy
godmother! I get 2 wishes per day, and she is beautiful! A navy
blue dress with stars all over it! I also met Lounah Wildwing, (Loo-n-ah
Wiled-wing) and her Grandma Grace. Oh, and Prixie. A rude boy fairy,
but still a good friend. In December, I met Sprite! A wonderful
boy snow fairy! He lived under my favorit bush in the front yard,
with blue leaves. I saw him every day, and I talked to him, and
he talked back! (Rare to find in a fae.)
As spring came near, I saw him less and less.
I asked him why this was happening? He said that because he is a
Snow fae, he could only live here in winter. I was very sad; Sprite
and me had become very good friends over the winter. He told me
that the Queen fae might be able to help if we went to her! So,
the next night, Sprite and I went up to the tree where the Queen
lived. She told us that if we found 1 thing for each season, she
could turn him into an all-year-round fairy! I found a green leaf,
a brown leaf, a ball of snow, and Sprite helped me pick up light!
Now Sprite is here as I am typing! Now it's 2007 and I saw a bunch
of fae in my mom and dad's bedroom! They did not look like the other
fae I had seen, but I knew they were fae!
