About a year ago, I was laying in my bed trying
to go to sleep, when I saw a light coming from the top of one of
my fairy books on my bookshelf and I saw the shadow of a little
person. That night, after I went to sleep, something awoke me and
it felt like a pinch in the middle of my foot. I later read a book
that said that fairies do not like untidiness and they will pinch
if you shirk off on your chores.

Janelle and I had a few questions. I have been
building a fairy house and I'm almost finished. I'm leaving a note
on the doorstep. I'm also leaving a few gifts on a giant leaf-a
shiny marble, bead bracelet, homemade perfume, and a tea party set
up with fairy cakes, fresh hot tea, lavender whip cream, cheddar
cheese, and flower peddles. To attract them I'll ring a little glass
bell and say...? I don't know what to say and please tell me what
I can do to try to get them to move in even more. Answer: Sit quietly
and be peaceful. You dont have to say anything to attract
a fairy to you. Fairies may come to you but you may not have the
special gift that lets you see them. Try at feeling their presence.
Wherever there are plants and or water -there are fairies

Today (August 10, 2006) in my backyard, I was
watching a faerie house I had built about a year ago, and I saw
several little people, all about two-four inches tall. I could make
out legs and arms.

I seem too old for fairies but I've always loved
them. A few months ago my friend and I left a treat for the fairies.
We had been seeing fairies at the park all night, the closes contact
was when my friend, sister, and I we walking home from the park.
Suddenly, when we were walking through the fences. My friend and
I saw this "U" shape swoop around. We looked at each other
and I said, "Did you see that?" She nodded. My sister
looked at me and said, "What are you talking about?" Yesterday
I left some bundt cake for them. That night something pulled on
my hair and I woke up but nothing was there and I fell back asleep.
When I woke up this morning I found honey in my hair. When I went
out to my back yard there were mushrooms everywhere! The weird thing
was that there werent any mushrooms in the front yard. My
room faces the back so I wonder if that had anything to do with
it. I think I will leave something out for them more often now.
I love to see them! I guess Oregon is a good place for them. I have
a garden with a lot of flowers.

My interest in faeries started when my cousin
and sister began writing stories about them. Yesterday and today,
I spent hours researching them and I am so happy to have found your
site- all these stories, we can't all be mad! Some of the things
Ive read here amaze me! I decided to leave out a piece of
fruit and a bottle cap of milk, along with about 15 shiny stones
for the faeries, in my forest. I put every last stone down on the
ground. I have never seen faeries in my life, so I was very excited.
I left my offerings and went away. A while later, I decided to go
and see if anything had been taken. As I ran up to the forest, I
heard a jingling noise coming from my pocket. When I looked inside
there were all the shiny stones I had left for the faeries! I went
to the forest and only three stones remained! Were these faeries
playing jokes on me?

. I think we all know that fairies are shape-shifters
and I think I saw one shape-shift! I was brushing my teeth when
I saw a piece of dust 1 1/2 feet in front of me. I blinked, and
I saw a glowing pink ball! I blinked again, and it was still there!
I walked closer & it flew away.

I never wanted to admit what I saw as a kid
but when I saw there have been other people seeing this creatures
I thought I'd share my story. It's not really amazing like the ones
I've heard but when I was 9 I was out playing and this "bug"
kept flying around me. I had just seen a movie where a guy caught
a fly in the air that had come out of nowhere. I don't remember
the name of the movie, but I thought it would be cool to try it
so I kept trying until finally I caught it. I was so excited and
opened my hands up a little bit to see what type of bug it was and
I saw a little person...it had clothing and everything I couldn't
believe I was even seeing what I was seeing. I tried to close my
hands up quick, to go show my mom, but it flew away before I could
catch it. I ran to tell my mom what I had seen and my mom thought
I was crazy and tried to tell my I caught a fly but flies don't
wear clothes or look like people.

. I have seen two fairies in my life. One was
when I was seven. I was in GB and we had a day-trip to a place called
Downhill forest. When we had done crafts and had lunch in the little
shop just in front of it, the lady said that we were to go for a
walk into the forest. She told us, when we were lined up, that there
were fairies in the forest. After that, all of us kept our eyes
peeled. We saw fairy trees, lots of them. There were tiny little
windows and cool doors. After a bit, we came to a path across a
lake. On the other side, out of the trees, came a dark shape. I
think it was a bad fairy, because bad fairies have black all over
them. She flew out, her hair and cloak streaming outward. I thought
it was my imagination, because I always see shapes like that. Only
when the walk was over, I realized it was a fairy. My friends saw
some, too. My best friend, Hannah, said she saw three. Laura, another
friend, saw a wing of one. Joanna, another friend, said she saw
one, too. When we went back on the bus and collected our crafts,
all we talked about was fairies. A few weeks ago, I had gone over
to Hannah's house to enjoy more of the summer. We went to the fields
for a walk and a picnic. It was lucky we did. I saw a dark shape
in a nearby tree. Then, as Hannah and I went for a walk, we found
a dead crow. Bad sign. We went to find all the colorful stuff we
could find in Hannah's bedroom. Hannah heard someone say in the
field, "Get out while you can," We put up all our colorful
stuff on the trees. At first, we had a bad feeling around those
trees, but when we got the colorful stuff on, we got this wonderful
warm feeling. After Hannah had heard the voice, we heard a scream.
We also found some dead flowers with fairy dust on them. Her and
I have made our lives now full of fairies. We are magicolagists.
We also know that if anyone says (Please don't say this out loud),
"I don't believe in fairies," a fairy will die.

I believe in fairies. In my backyard, I made
them a house and left out sweets and stuff like that. I really want
to see a fairy, and I'm wondering why I'm not. I'm 13 and I live
in Michigan, do you think the location might have to do with it?
Answer- Fairies live everywhere. If there aren't any live plants
around they work to make them grow in any spot. You may not have
the gift of "Fairy Sight". Not all humans have this talent.
It is like me not having the gift of being able to read music and
play an instrument. My brain isnt wired that way. Try to feel
fairies. Everyone can develop this. Relax and sit quietly. Speak
quietly. Maybe hum or sing a sweet song. Remember- they are everywhere!

I always believed in fairies, and I wanted to
see if I had any in my house, so I left a really shiny and polished
stone on my bedroom table for them. Then I left for school. When
I got home the stone was moved from my bedroom to my living room!
And when I was on the computer I saw a little sparkling circle next
to my face, but then it was gone! I think it was a fairy! Then I
left a letter for them in a little clearing in my woods, I call
it fairy glen, and I got not response, but I had folded the paper
in half one time I KNOW I did, but the next day it was folded TWO
times!

I've always believed in fairies but this week
I have been trying to see them I even made a pond to attract the
fairies. When I came out the next morning my mum was redoing the
garden and all of a sudden a green insect flew by me it was definitely
green with some black lines on it I am not sure whether it was a
fairy or not, but I would like to believe that all the things that
I've done to try and see a fairy might have paid off.

I once was sitting under the tree in my backyard
trying to contact fairies using their language. I said, " Ahna
Danen," meaning, " Love to sing." I finished and
then opened my eyes. After listening intently for a few seconds,
I heard a faint tinkle. I jumped up and told my mom. I'm absolutely
sure it was a fairy.
Then I was contacting fairies with my friend
and her little brother. We were going around in nine circles chanting,
"Ahna Danen." Then we opened our eyes. I looked around
and caught a glimpse of a black blur shooting past a tree, up into
the sky. I tried to get my friend to see it, but when we looked
again, going in the same direction was a black bird. I'm REALLY
sure it was another fairy.

I first became interested in fairies in the year
2000, so bought a series of fairy books. I noticed the places it
said that fairies were and the signs of fairy related activity so,
I went to my secret place and that was at the bottom of my garden
I had a hole in the hedge that I used to get in. The hedge was huge
so there was a lot of space in it. You know when a mirror or some
metal glints and you see a shine on the floor? Well, that's what
I saw, and I was sure I saw wings and a tiny face in it. I saw that
every time I went down there, until I was going to move house. I
wanted to say goodbye so I went down there, and saw it, but it was
different it looked. . . gray it came up to me for the first time
ever, and touched my hand and pulled it towards my pocket. I had
a box in there, I always kept it with me, it contained a dried rose,
I opened it and showed it to my friend she got into it and covered
herself with the flower. I closed the box with her still inside
and went to my new home. I opened it when I got there and expected
her to fly out, instead flew a butterfly, pink, purple and blue.
I saw the
face of the fairy on it, then it flew away.

It was my 10th Birthday and I had some friends
stay for a sleep over after the party had ended. We were down stairs.
It was roughly 4:00 in the morning. I had told the other girls about
my belief in fairies and they admitted they were also believers.
We decided we were hungry. Starving actually. So Danika and I (being
the only brave ones) crept up the stairs to get something. As soon
as I entered the living room (to get to the kitchen) I felt a sense.
Like someone was watching me. We went to the kitchen and once we
had finished our snacks, we went to look out the glass patio door.
Being summer it was slightly dark and slightly light as we looked
out. We saw. a blue fairy sitting on the railing of the deck. She
was a bluish color with silvery-blue hair. I only saw her out of
the corner of my eye, but Danny saw her all the way. I could also
see the light shimmering in the air. It scared both of us. I felt
frozen to the spot. I summoned up my courage and said that we should
go back downstairs. We also agreed to not tell the other girls.
I sometimes feel her presence.

At my age you are not supposed to believe in
faeries and yet I have always been compelled to them and have seem
them many times.
As a younger girl my life was based around faeries,
I made homes, Made special food to leave out for them, left notes
and sung in the garden to make them come out. The first few times
I hardly remember, only a bright shimmering light. The most vivid
would be the sighting when I was ten. She was 6 inches long, the
palest pink light shimmering, I was out side and it was dusk, the
sky its self was the most brilliant pink, I was sitting in the grass
under my Jacaranda tree which is huge and the purple flowers which
it grew had made a soft lilac carpet on the lawn. I looked up into
the tree, and there she was. As I said before the light she exuded
was ballet slipper pink and was shimmering from the branch she sat
on. Once I saw her, I stayed calm, and feeling of pure happiness
washed through my body. She floated off her branch and down towards
me. She left a path of fine shimmering pink powder in the air she
graced her presence with. She came down, and it was then that I
saw her figure; she looked fragile as if you were to touch her with
a hair she would die. She didn't look like a normal human she was
more graceful with limbs like willow branches, her skin was pale
and had a hue of lilac like the flower that surrounded her. She
twirled around and extended a hand towards me. Was she asking me
to touch her? I was about to reach out with my finger when my dog,
Elliot, came barking through the garden. I heard her let out a strange
squeal, which was so high pitched and quiet that I only heard it
while looking at her face. My dog also heard it and started racing
straight towards her. She flew like a bolt of lighting away, leaving
a trail of her dust behind her. The strange thing is I stayed sitting
under the tree for a while after wards and I could here this faint
magical music in the distance, and the smell, the smell of all the
delicate flowers in the word was left around that tree, and on me,
as when I went on side my mother, asked what I was wearing. I told
her I did not know and she told me with a smile that that smell
was very familiar.
