I was at the Girl Scout Appleseed Ridge Council
in Ohio for their summer camp when a red woodland fairy (about half
an inch big) flew right up in my face! It looked similar to an insect,
but if you looked closely, you could make out arms and legs. Then,
it started copying every move I made. So, I ran around in circles
about three times, and then stopped. I looked around, and the fairy
was gone!
About three years later, my girl scout troop
and I went to the Mudhen's Baseball Overnight Trip also in Ohio.
When it was dark, I looked up (sick of watching people hitting and
throwing balls over and over) and saw little glowing midnight fairies
flying everywhere above me! They were about an inch big each and
looked like white glowing balls of light! They kept appearing and
disappearing, and so I told my fellow fairy believers (as in my
troop). We all couldn't believe how many there were! There were
too many to count!
My last fairy sighting was also at the Mudhen's
Baseball Overnighter, but after the game's fireworks. The fireworks
made my troop and I flip out in worry! We were afraid the fireworks
might have hurt the fairies, so we searched carefully for injured
fairies. Then, as soon as we were done searching, I turned around
and saw a gray fairy about half an inch big standing on the tip
top point of someone's tent!

I was about eleven when I saw something amazing.
It was the summer at night and I was outside feeding my dog. I was
just scooping up his food when I saw a golden ball of light right
about the size of my fist going back and forward rapidly for about
twelve seconds. My dog had just gone inside, and I was standing
there frozen to the spot. I was in awe, but I was disappointed when
it disappeared. In fear, I went back inside and shut the door locking
it. I had no idea what it was. I told my parents. Naturally, they
didn't believe me. Some people I told said it was a firefly. Well
I'll be darned if we get fireflies up here. Other people said it
was a flashlight. Then where was the beam? I checked and flashed
a flashlight through the sliding glass door. It wasn't the same
effect at all! I'm inclined to believe I saw a fairy. It fascinates
me to this day. I'm dying to see one again. I have seen lots of
lights flying around in my room out of the corner of my eye. I've
seen them so many times, but they always disappear as soon as I've
spotted them. I don't know if it's the trick of the eyes or not.

There is a giant tree where I live (in the middle
of the woods), that has a huge mossy mound at the base of it. I
believe there to be fairies living in the mound underground! When
I am upset, I run to my tree, and lay on the ground right at the
mound, and I feel better. The reason I think they live there is
that there are two holes about eight inches in diameter that I believe
to be the entrances and exits. That tree and mound are the only
things that stay green in winter- everything else is dead, gray
and bleak. That tree is so beautifully alive any day. I will put
flowers down, and they will be gone ten minutes later! I see them
all the time and I'm sure everyone who truly believes will see them
too.

I was in my bed with the lights out, as it was
my bedtime, and I was thinking about Harry Potter when all of a
sudden I hear a giggly voice say something and as it woke me up
from my thoughts I only heard the end of it which as something like:
"With you". I ended up thinking it was my sister on the
phone, but it didn't sound like her so I asked if she was on the
phone and she said, "No". It couldn't have been her music
both as it was guys singing and the voice I heard was feminine and
squeaky. I went back to bed, but I honestly think it was a fairy.

Just today, I found a pair of fairy wings resting
on my window sill. They were no bigger than two millimeters. Also,
I found a baby fairy sleeping in a bird's nest on my porch.

I thought I would email you about the times I've
seen faeries, they both occurred in the past few months, and one
only 2 nights ago now. The first I was sitting in my bedroom and
I looked up and I saw a yellow glowing faerie fly quickly past,
I was able to make out her legs and body before she got away.
The second time was only a few nights ago I am
not sure what kind of creature it was but I was laying on my bed
with my friend the lights where off and it was fairly dark I looked
up and I saw about a meter in height or so the sort of shape of
a human it was very bright glowing blue and walked a few steps then
disappeared!

It all started when I was about five or six.
It was around seven o'clock in the evening and I was heading out
of my great grandmother's house to go to swimming lessons. When
I stepped onto the plateau (halfway between the first and second
story) on the outdoor stairway I peered over the shoulder high railing
to view the backyard. There resting in on the lawn was about a 3
inch ball of luminescent light. Intrigued, I stared intently while
my mother and great grandma continued down the stairs. Without any
prior knowledge, I instantly concluded it was a faerie. As I gaped
upon the little creature devoid of blinking, I wondered why it had
not moved. I pondered the fact that my mom and grandma had not seen
the glowing ball; after all, it was pitch black outdoors. And, if
it really was there, why hadn't my two dogs gone to investigate
this being?
By the time I reached the bottom of the stairs,
my instincts told me not to get closer, so I simply proceeded out
the back gate. Never to question the occurrence again. Until now,
a near ten years later, when I'm beginning to interrogate the entire
faerie issue again.
First, it started out with extremely good luck,
I would risk something terrible happening, then at the last second
change my plans, which would alter the fate I was about to receive.
For example, I was about to stay home sick on a Monday, but instead,
suddenly have the urge to go to school and then stay home on Tuesday.
Only to find out that, my entire English class was going to get
15 points off our biggest assignment of the year, had we missed
school that day.
These episodes began happening rapidly all around
me. It was only last Thursday, when I brought up my beliefs to my
mother. She was very understanding, and shared her experiences to
me as well. Now it is Friday, and many unexplainable things have
happened since then. On Monday, I was lying in my bed, when I heard
the sweetest music, as though it were all around me. It was not
like a T.V. or a stereo, but like deep, rich notes echoing around
my head. They were few and far between, yet I could barely make
out the soft melody. I sounded as if it could be large humming bells,
an alto sounding flute, or even long and smooth harp strums. Then
on Tuesday I experienced terrible bad luck, and embarrassment at
school, when I tried to perform a solo dance piece. Later, at my
local dance studio, I was sitting in the lobby, as my teachers and
classmates talked around me. I was rather quiet and just looked
across the room. Then a dark black object, about 2 inches whizzed
past my field of view, only 2 feet from my face. It flew over my
shoulder and behind my back. I turned around to see where the beautiful
moth like creature went, but could see nothing. It had disappeared.
I feet suddenly uplifted and looked at the expressions on the dancers
faces, except no one had seen it. Not even the instructor who was
standing behind the couch where I was sitting. I knew it was not
and insect because I could distinctly remember long flowing hair
and two miniature, human-like legs on the little person that I viewed
with my right eye. It seemed to flutter as it flew, clumsy and graceful
at the same time. When I entered the dance room, she showed herself
to me again, by doing a dive in the air below me. Just like that
she had vanished. Then yesterday, I was sitting on my school bus,
peering out of my window, when I saw a small green ball of light
through a church (which is now used as an auditorium) window. I
turned and it was gone. I waited and watched for a student to appear,
or someone to turn on a light, yet no one emerged from the darkness.

I have seen a fairy in a forest and at my playground.
When I was in the forest I was looking for my cousin when I saw
a snake and began running until I heard music and laughing. I followed
the sound, forgetting about the snake, and when I turned the corner
I saw the most beautiful thing I've ever seen- it was a fairy. On
the playground I was by myself by my favorite tree to think. I somehow
couldn't hear the laughter and yelling from the playground anymore
but I saw a sick fairy in front of me. I picked it up and took it
to class and fed it. When I fell asleep I saw glowing and then I
woke up and looked for the fairy but there instead was a note that
said "You Are Giving And Special Thank You" it was a gold
letter I still have it today and still look for fairies and sometimes
find some and people think there is no such thing! When I was about
eight, me and my friends Jordan and Sydney went to this forest with
our moms, we saw little colorful sparks about a centimeter tall
and thought they were fairies. Jordan saw one that looked like a
dragonfly, but then she saw it spread human arms and legs out............it
was a real fairy! I also think I saw millions of fairies when I
was eight years old.

I've been seeing fairies since I was a little
girl. One of my recent sightings was when I was in my garden and
I heard this buzzing in my ear. I turned around and I saw a pink
bubble glowing. There was a tiny body inside it! Now my friends,
Amber, Taleah and Kimberley see them all the time.

When I was about 7-9 years of age, I recall my
mother telling me to go and clean my room. I started with the junk
under my bed because it was jutting out haphazardly and I didn't
want to get in trouble. I started pulling things out and saw from
my peripheral vision something small and tan run under the foot
of my bed. It took me a few seconds to get the courage to investigate
but when I did look under the bed I remember many little horse-like
creatures running around. They were all dipping and diving into
my shoes and there were various little tan people hiding between
shoes and climbing laces etc. They kind of had whispery little chats
that sounded like a small child's whispering and they had big eyes
and wispy hair, but I can't remember much after that except some
years later, after I brought up the incident my father told me we
had a problem with mice. They were not mice, but since it was so
long ago, I can never really know.

I have seen what I thought was a fairy on the
12th of November 2005. I was walking around and I heard this buzzing
in my ear and I looked and in the corner of my eye I saw a pink,
glowing thing. I think it was a fairy. From that day on I keep hearing
fairies laughing every time I enter my garden.
