To Whom It May Be of Interest To: I have never told any one before but I have always seen the little sparks of light that buzz around now and then, I do know there is intelligence behind them because they will fly fast then slow and make right or left angle turns, They can fly just a short distances and disappear or they can fly across the room and turn and go into the other room. I would like to get a picture of them but they always appear when I least expect them to, I've seen them in groups of one, groups of two, but never more then three at a time. I have often believed that these are Fairies. |

Those two experiences this May changed my adult life forever and have encouraged me more than ever to care for my surrounding environment, insects and animals. I want to share with you my recent fairie sighting that happened the day after Memorial Day (2008).
I had secretly been praying to see one of these Nature guardians but had forgotten about this prayer. In the meantime, we were celebrating Memorial Day when my sister and father had gotten into a horrible argument, which left her storming out of our home, and just ruined our entire weekend. That following morning I had off from work, and felt an air of sadness and gloom from the night before as I stared, daydreaming into my hair. With my mind still on my family's argument, my attention was suddenly averted when I noticed a small light brown face looking up at me through a section of my hair. She had dark brown eyes that resembled insect’s eyes, but almond shaped and slanted upwards. She had a high forehead and it looked as though her hair was pulled back. I sensed compassion coming from her. Her face had a very pretty soft appearance. I stared at her in disbelief- in shock, but also feeling a sense of comfort from her. Then her face disappeared, but I still felt a sense of compassion remain. It lifted my depressed mood and I thanked her silently for appearing to me.
A week or two later, I found myself picking garbage up around our road, and transplanting tree seedlings., weeding and praying for this Earth, the animals and all of Creation. That Tuesday I had a dream before I woke up where I heard a woman's voice sing in a high sweet voice these words, "You are helping the flowers to seed; all things are precious". When I awoke, I quickly dragged myself to my journal to record this verse. I don't know if this song was from that fairy, but it was very angelic and uplifting and not from this realm. |

I do not believe in fairies. It’s a nice idea, though! But A few years ago I was out on the patio in the garden having a cigarette. It was about 10.30 and dark. I saw across the garden a little ball of blue light, about 2 inches big. It hovered across the lawn a few inches above the grass. My first thought was that it must be the hedgehog that frequents the garden; although why it was glowing with blue light I couldn’t think. So I got up and ran over to the light but it bobbed into the rockery. I tried to catch it and it ducked behind some plants and disappeared. It wasn’t the hedgehog, obviously, but for the life of me I can’t imagine what it could be. I stumbled across the idea of fairies when I Googled my question about it. It’s a mystery. |

Came across your site tonight as I was thinking of my possible fairy experience about 2 years ago. I just know in my heart it must have been a fairy! I lived in California at the time and in the city. I had previously watched the "newer version" movie of Peter Pan (not the cartoon) with my son and daughter. There was a part in the movie where they chanted, "I do, I do, I do Believe In Faeries" over and over again, to bring back life to the little fairy. I couldn’t get that out of my mind ever since then for a couple of days, I kept saying that to myself, not really thinking much of it. I always wanted to believe they existed as I collected a few or so fairy items in the past and found them to be beautiful & sweet. The next night, I was sitting on the far end of my couch late at night, enjoying the peace and quiet. I started chanting, "I do, I do believe in Faeries" quietly for no reason to myself. Then suddenly I heard the sound of spark/sparkling to my left about 10 feet away from me on corner wall of the living room, it sounded similar to the sound that a "Flower" firework makes on the ground? is the only way I can describe the sound. I looked quickly to my left and there was, a beautiful yellowy-vanilla ball of light sparkling bright! & floating in one place, it was about 12 or a little more inches high and round (no one was around, but me) I was so shocked and amazed at what I was looking at in my living room. It lasted for about 7-8 seconds and then completely vanished. At that moment I felt this overwhelming feeling of *happiness*, I knew right then and there 100% that I had witnessed a fairy, I got up to investigate and see where I had seen this beautiful light and there wasn’t a drop of evidence that could explain what happened to me that night. Will Never, Ever forget this "rare" & special moment. Really hope I can be blessed to see another one again. It would make my day/night so much. ((("Do Believe In Faeries", and they will come))) |

One day in August 2007, driving on a two-lane road, my eye was caught by a brilliant white butterfly about 20 feet up into the trees. But as I looked at it, I realized it was flying too straight, and seemed too heavy, to be a butterfly. But it didn't look like a bird either. It was such a light-filled white that after I passed it, I thought, "I wonder if that was a real fairy?" I couldn't turn around because it would have been dangerous on that road. When I got home I couldn't get the picture out of my mind, and finally told my daughter about it, even drawing a picture of the general shape. (Fat body, triangular wings, no distinctive head shape) She looked up your site, and sent me the picture taken by the woman who was in construction work with her husband. Those little white "butterfly" looking things in her pictures are EXACTLY what I saw! The picture gave me chills! I sure do wonder what those things are. |

About three years ago I had my gallbladder out
and normally its a routine operation but during the procedure I
started to bleed and what was meant to be an hour took 4 hours with
them eventually cutting half way across my stomach. That night while
I was lying in my hospital bed every time I closed my eyes strange
and weird lines would appear in my minds eye. Then it would've been
about an hour later out of nowhere I suddenly saw, in the doorway
to the bathroom, a fairy flying in circles. It had no color and
was transparent like a silvery white and was quite large about the
size of a basketball. It just kept appearing in the doorway and
at times I felt it touching my hand and nose and felt also it was
healing me after the operation as to not get worse. This continued
on for the whole night and half way through the next day and in
the afternoon it gradually faded away. Ever since that night I have
seen many faeries. They are never clear but just clear enough to
know it is them. |

I live in the redneck capital of Texas. I'm
an Electrician by trade. I don't believe in the Lockness monster
and I don't believe in Big Foot. I do believe in fairies or little
people...I have seen one. I don't believe they exist. I know they
exist.
It took place 22 yrs. ago, but the memory of
the encounter still weighs on my mind. It's as vivid today as if
it just happened. I was 13 years old and my mother had passed due
to cancer. My father remarried and my stepmother came with two daughters
- all of them older than me. Together they came from the cornfields
of Indiana.
We were getting ready for a trip to meet my new
step grandmother for Thanksgiving who lived on a very large corn
farm. My stepsisters and mother were talking, a few weeks before
the trip, about growing up around the farm. My stepsister started
talking about the little men she once saw as a little girl. She
swore she was telling the truth. We made fun of her despite her
growing anger.
When we got to grandma's house, my younger
brother and I stayed with my step grandmother in the trailer, which
was in better condition than the old house on the property. My little
brother and I were to sleep on the floor at my step grandma's trailer.
It really was a small trailer. The kitchen was at one end of the
house; you would walk through the living room to come to a door
that opened up to a hallway and that led to the bedrooms and the
one bathroom.
Friday night everyone went to bed early my younger
brother and I were left alone to watch TV. The door to the hallway
and the bathroom were closed. After Miami Vice was over I got up
to go to the bathroom. As I opened the door to the hallway I turned
on the hallway light. As the door swung open I watched, in growing
fear, a man, by my estimates, about 3" tall, run across the
floor. He had a hat on his head, a white jacket with tails, green
pants, like the kind kids wore in the 20's, and white knee high
socks with black shoes. He was running quite fast. He ran from one
side of the hallway to the other. I had a good second and a half
to watch him. He dove under the door. As I pulled it back to see
if he was behind it, I glimpsed him again when he slipped down into
the a/c duct in the floor. I was scared beyond belief. I could not
believe what I had just seen. I lost the desire to brave the hallway
and go to the bathroom. I would hold it till the morning. I didn't
wake anybody because I knew they wouldn't believe me.
When I told them the next day I was right they
didn't. They told me it was my imagination- that I was sleepy. It
must have been a post hypnotic suggestion from our conversations
before with my stepsister. I resigned myself to the ridicule, but
I know what I saw. I have only told a few people about this over
the years because of my fear of ridicule. My stepsister believed
me as she had once seen them too. I know what I saw and he was real.
I've told my wife and my children about my encounter. My wife patronizes
me and the children (all girls) believed me when they were younger
but not anymore. I've gotten used to it, but to this day I still
look for another glimpse, everywhere. One day I will see another
because they are real. There is no belief, there is knowing, and
that makes all the difference in the world. |

Recently on a trip to southern Oregon, I took
a few pictures of a nearby creek. When I got home and downloaded
the pictures to the computer, I noticed a "water spirit"
in one of the pictures. I decided to browse through most of my other
pictures, and found a few with what looks like a couple of fairies
flying. These pictures were taken a few years ago when a a few friends
and myself were in the woods riding ATVs in northern Oregon. I remember
that I almost deleted them, because of the poor quality. I am glad
that I did not, because these are incredible. Look for yourself...

This past summer, on a lovely sunny day, a friend
of mine asked me to take a ride with her to pick up her paycheck.
She worked for a woman who was owner to a large and lovely catering
facility. This is a place of hope and joy as many weddings take
place here. I waited for her in the car while she went to get her
check.
We were parked adjacent to the water fountains
that were not on when we got there. As I waited, the fountains came
on. And the joyful sounds from it caught my attention. It was like
laughter, only in miniature. I watched as the water tumbled down,
first shooting upwards before it's tumbled. Upon closer examination
of the top of the water shooting up from the fountains, saw what
I believe are water faeries. They took many different forms, but
always water was their skin. They became dolphins, and humans diving,
they rolled up in balls and even did cannon balls into the water
below. All the while I could hear giggling and laughter. It was
such a sight to behold. Inside I felt joy and refreshed. I will
never forget this as long as I live. |

My encounter was the most exciting yet the saddest
tale you'll ever hear.
I was fifteen at the time and still living with
my parents, not married and still had the magical essence of being
a virgin still (In most books and religions being a virgin gives
you magical insight, like the ability to catch a unicorn.). I had
been terribly sad and depressed for weeks because I had just had
my heart broken. I was a active girl and had just learned of my
witch heritage and abilities. My best friend Sandra had invited
me over for the weekend with hopes of lifting my spirits. The very
second I walked into her room it felt magical and active. Like a
feeling of some prank you just did and your in the small moment
of laughing or the feeling of getting a thoughtful gift and your
just about to say.."Aww". I saw so many tiny colorful
lights shoot here and there. I assumed it was my eyes adjusting
but I felt that it was fairies. In one corner of her room we learned
later she had some type of door or portal they'd come through. (Or
it was a favorite spot).
That night as I went to bed, I had told her I
felt like the world was cruel and cold. I told her I felt robbed
of my innocent happiness. Within' two minutes I noticed a flicker
of something in the reflection of her posters above her bed. She
had light blue Christmas lights that stayed on in her room over
the bed. I assumed once again I was seeing something but not sure
what. When Sandra made the same comment about seeing it too within'
thirty seconds of my noticing...I really got nervous. I stood up
and waved my hand by the flickering object. Nothing there but a
slight breeze of flapping wings. It felt like a dragonfly was hovering
next to my hand. Now that I was up where I could see the object.
It was about maybe six inches at the most tall and at the lower
hips 2 and a half wide. It had the head of one of the Gremlins from
the movie Gremlins. It was dark and had no chest to show if it were
female or not. it turned out it was. We got to over the next three
days talking to her through the flickering of her wings. She had
dragonfly wings and it got to where we could entirely interpret
her.She had gotten lost and was looking for the way towards Canada
and then was going to fly to Ireland.
She was a drow fairy and did cause mischief around
the house. She pushed off plates and made two break. But, now I
am seventeen and I feel I have lost my gift. I am also married. |
