Last week we shared Teddy’s new fairy garden.
Today, we are sharing another fairy garden, just as special. Here is Kitty’s magical garden.
She made her fairy garden in my old sewing basket. Okay, my basket wasn’t so old but Kitty was so excited at the idea of making her garden in my sewing basked that I just couldn’t refuse. It looks delightful and I’m glad that I let her run with her idea. (10 points to me!)
What fun it was to find proof that the fairies had visited. We discovered this fairy horse drinking from the pond.
Here’s how Kitty made her fairy garden.
She has made many fairy gardens over the years and knows that good drainage is essential for a healthy fairy garden. A layer of pebbles in the bottom of her container ensures that it will drain well.
Kitty then filled her basket with organic potting soil.
Then she planted moss and added a myriad of enchanting fairy garden accessories… a filigree table and chairs for the fairies to sit at. A yellow pool filled with cool water for the fairies to swim in (and water their horses at). A tiny bucket, a magical key, a letterbox. A magic crystal ball, gold bells and glittery stars. And, a couple of toadstools, of course.
As she stood back and looked at her fairy garden, I saw a sparkle in her eyes… she had created pure magic and she knew that the fairies were sure to come.
If you have enjoyed looking at Kitty’s fairy garden, be sure to visit Teddy’s fairy garden too.
You find all these magical fairy garden accessories in the Fairy Gardens Shop.

Blessings and magic,
